The Patriots boys' team faced Chantilly and despite winning half of the twelve events, fell short of the win, 133-182.
Double winners were: Nick Pasternak (200 IM, 100 Fly) and Andrew Meighan (50 Free, 100 Free. Joseph Gallagher won the 500 Free. James Weise came in first in the diving. The Patriots won two of three relays.
The Patriots girls’ team secured victory over Chantilly, 151-140. They won five of twelve events. Event winners were: Cate Barret (200 IM), Hannah Karlin (diving) and Natalie English (100 Back).
Next up: The Patriots take on the McLean Highlanders at Spring Hill Rec Center on Friday, December 15 at 6:30 pm.
The Patriot boys' and girls' teams each won ten of twelve events against the Herndon Hornets, with the boys scoring 205-110, and the girls winning 220.5-93.5.
The Patriots had five double winners: Thomas Outlaw (50 free, 100 Fly), Jonathan Day (200 free, 500 free), Zach Rosenthal (200 IM, 100 breast), Kayle Park (200 IM, 100 breast), and Mary Kate Reicherter (500 free, 100 Back). Single winners included Ryan Soh (100 Back), Emily Larsen (200 free), and Petie Nassetta (100 Fly). Hannah Karlin won the girls 1m dive event.
The Patriots swept all six relays.
The Patriots have a double-header next weekend. On December 8th, they swim against Chantilly High School, and on December 9th they participate in the Liberty Conference Invitational.
