Announcements and Important Events
Optional conditioning and green day sessions will resume in January 2021 per the schedule outlined below. Session capacity is limited due to APS covid protocols so please note how to register/acknowledge interest in attending. Safety continues to be paramount so please note the procedures below.
Students will need a VHSL physical for the current school year (5 page form including the APS co-curricular agreement) in order to participate in sessions. Students should email their physical to email@example.com or mail them to the school – physicals will not be accepted at conditioning sessions.
As part of the APS covid protocols, please note the following:
1) Students and coaches must wear a mask to, from and during conditioning sessions.
2) Students and coaches will have their temperature checked upon entry to the facility and will be asked screening questions.
3) Students must bring their own water and will not be allowed to enter without water.
4) Social distancing will be maintained during conditioning sessions except when engaged in direct physical activity.
5) All workouts will occur outside so inclement weather might affect the ability to offer a session. Please make sure to sign up for Team App for your desired sport(s) since same day notifications will be made via Team App messages.
6) Students will be kept in groups for contact tracing purposes which will limit overall capacity.

Wrestling – Wednesdays 5-6:30 pm on the turf – students must indicate interest on Team App - there are also virtual workouts one to two times a week.
Football – Starting January 11 - Monday mornings (time TBD) and Wednesdays from 3:15-5 pm - both on the turf. Tryouts begin February 4.
Girls Lacrosse – Starting January 11 - Mondays 5:15-6:30 pm conditioning on the track and Wednesdays from 6:30-8 pm on the turf. Please register via Team App.
Field Hockey – Starting January 11 – Wednesdays from 5-6:30 pm on the turf and Thursdays from 5:15-6:30 pm conditioning on the track. Please register via Team App. Tryouts begin February 15.
Boys Lacrosse – Starting January 13 - Wednesdays from 8-9:30 pm on the turf.
Spirit (cheer) – Currently holding virtual sessions - sign up on Team App for more information. Tryouts begin February 4.
Cross Country - Weekly workout plans are sent out via Team App. Practices will begin no sooner than February 15 depending on the conclusion of the indoor track season.
