The boys Freshman Basketball team came out strong battling back and forth with Wakefield. Going into halftime, Yorktown trailed by just 1 point. Wakefield came out stronger in the second half capitalizing on their offense ending the game 59-45. Top scorers for Yorktown this evening were Thomas Dickson with 17 points and Zachary Tripodi with 9. Yorktown will travel to TJ next Tuesday for their second game.
