JV Volleyball wins 25-15, 25-23 vs Herndon HS.
The first set was the more decisive one and the girls came ready to play. Erin McShane led the offense with 4 kills (50%) while Cameron McCleskey added 2 more kills (66%). Libero, Cayla Harrison was on point with 5 digs and a 2.33 passer rating. Cloe Ploessl also had a perfect passer rating of 3.00.
After finding themselves down early in the second set, the focus quickly shifted to defense. The Patriots eventually dug down deep to fight back and win a very close set. Annmarie Earley finished with 2 kills (40%) and a whopping 8 digs. Libero, Kate Meredith also added 5 digs with a 2.00 passer rating. Adrienne Miller tallied 4 digs for herself while both Anna DeFalco and Lacey Morrison picked up 3 digs each.
Overall great match by everyone and the Patriots now move to 2-0 on the season. Go Yorktown!
