Jenny Keimig enters her 8th season at Yorktown as the Varsity Girls Lacrosse Head Coach were she currently holds a 83-30 record with the Patriots.
2024- 21-1 Overall Record ranking #1 in VA 6A. Won program's 2nd Liberty District title, Program's first Region D title, and program's 2nd Virginia 6A State Championship.
2023- Finished season with an overall 9-10 record. Runner up in Liberty District and reached 100th Career win as Varsity Head Coach (Battlefield/Yorktown combined).
2022- 19-3 Overall Record ranking #3 in VA 6A, clenched first Liberty District Championship Title, Runner-up in Region, won Program's first Virginia 6A State Championship Title, and earned Washington All-Met and All-State Coach of the Year.
2021- Condensed season post Covid. 9-4 Overall Record, Runner-up in Liberty District

First Varsity Head Coach experience was at Battlefield High School in 2009-2011. Finished three seasons with 41-17 Overall Record earning program's first District & Regional Championship, advancing to 3 state appearances, and received Prince William County Coach of the Year Awards 2009-2011.
Has 18+ years experience coaching High School & Travel Club lacrosse and is a Certified Official for Girls Youth and High School Lacrosse. Played 4 years of collegiate lacrosse at George Mason University as a Defender. In 2008, was a key member of a defensive unit that ranked 5th in the nation in caused turnovers per game and 6th in ground balls per game. In 2008 season helped the Patriots to #12 national ranking, the highest in program's history. Graduated in 2008 and Majored in Business Admin.

Margaret is from Alexandria, Va and was a two-sport athlete at Bishop Ireton in Cross Country and Lacrosse. During her high school years Margaret played Midfield and earned All-WCAC honors in 2011. She was named an Academic All-America as a junior. As a Senior Captain she led Bishop Ireton to a 15-8 record and the finals of the VA State Tournament finising her season with 31 goals and 26 assists. She was an all-conference second team selection and also played for Capital travel club lacrosse. Margaret was recruited to play Division I Womens Lacrosse at Univeristy of Vermont. She was a four-year midfielder who helped the Catamounts make it to the America East Playoffs for three consecutive years landing top-25 National Ranking with a bid for a play-in to the 2014 NCAA Division I Tournament. She graduated from Vermont in 2016 majoring in Public Communications. Margaret began her coaching career at Yorktown last Spring 2017 as the JV Assistant Coach. She is very excited to enter her 2nd season coaching and will be serving as the Varsity Assistant Coach. Outside of lacrosse Maragret's profession is a Digital Media Specialist.

Liz enters her 4th season with Yorktown as the Varsity Assistant Goalie Coach. Liz is a NoVa local who played lacrosse at W.T. Woodson High School (class of 2015) where she helped the Cavaliers to the Patriot Conference Championship in 2013, 2014, and 2015. After recording 142 saves with 56.57% as a Senior she was named Patriot League Player of the Year and W.T. Woodson Female Athlete of the year. Liz was named to the First Team All-Conference, VHSL 6A All-State, VHSL All-Region and NRWLCA 6A/5A North All-Region as well as the Washington Post All-Met 2nd Team. Liz also played on Capital's travel club lacrosse team during her high school years. She was recruited as goalie to play D1 at George Mason University and graduated May 2019. She recently earned a Masters Degree in Cyber Security at Georgetown University and is currently working at Accenture. She has been a huge asset to our Girls Lacrosse Program with her collegiate experience and knowledge specializing with goalies.

Cat Leighty is entering her first season as Varsity Assistant Coach for Spring 2023.
Cat was a standout athlete in Field Hockey & Lacrosse at Fairfax and Oakton High School where she graduated in 2017 earning All-Conference Team Honors. She continued to play on the collegiate level at Christopher Newport University where she was an offensive threat and draw specialist. She graduated with a Business Degree in 2021 wrapping up her collegiate career ranking 5th in CNU Women's Lacrosse Program history with 32 free position goals, 6th with 79 assists, and 9th with 200 points. Cat's love and passion for the lacrosse will be a great addition to our coaching staff as her area of expertise will be offense and draws.

Maddy Ernesto enters her 2nd season with Yorktown. She was raised in Arlington, VA where she graduated from Yorktown High School in 2012. During her time at YHS, she played several sports, but most of her time was focused on varsity lacrosse. As a defensive wing, Maddy was a top scorer for her team, and was eventually appointed team captain. As team captain, she helped lead the team to several division championships and regional competitions. Maddy also played for the Cardinals travel team before being recruited to play lacrosse for the University of Mary Washington (UMW).
Once at UMW, Maddy transitioned to playing Division II rugby. In addition to playing rugby, she also had a part time job as a strength and conditioning coach for the UMW Athletics Department. There she trained members of several teams including, softball, tennis, equestrian, and rugby. In her sophomore year, Maddy’s team won the NCAA Division II National Championship. After college, Maddy was hired by the Arlington County Police Department (ACPD) where she has served for nearly six years. She is currently assigned to the Youth Outreach Unit (YOU) and is a member of the Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) Team.

Shannon is from Baltimore, MD where she grew up playing and loving lacrosse since she was a young child. Shannon played for Skywalkers Lacrosse Club and was a three-sport athlete at Mercy High School Baltimore in Cross Country, Basketball, and Lacrosse. During her high school years, she was a 4-year varsity midfielder/attacker and won a conference championship in her junior year. She earned IAAM All-Conference honors and lead her team in points two years in a row. Shannon was named Most Valuable Player in her junior and senior year. She was also honored as a senior captain and the recipient of the Outstanding Sportswoman award. In college, Shannon played attack for Loyola University Maryland, where the Greyhounds won 3 Patriot League Championships and made 4 NCAA Tournament appearances. Shannon overcame adversity during her time in college when she was sidelined due to injury. This experience, however, gave her an interesting perspective and an incredible opportunity to watch and learn from some of the best players and coaches in the game! Shannon graduated from Loyola with a B.A. in Speech Pathology in 2016. She earned her Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology in May 2019 and now works for Fairfax County Public Schools. Shannon's role on Varsity will be coordinating our offensive.
