Yorktown will play Woodson in the first round of the Northern Region playoffs on Monday, Feb. 18 at 7:30 pm.

Cardinal Basketball Association has announced their annual scholarship opportunity.  Seniors are encouraged to apply as Yorktown has had success in the past with award winners.

Dear Athletic Director and Counselor;

The Cardinal Basketball Officials Association is pleased, once again, to announce that it will be offering the Bookjammin Hoops Scholarship for the
2012-2013 season.  Over the years, our scholarships have assisted college-bound seniors defray the costs associated with first year attendance.

This year, as in the past, we encourage your participation in bringing this opportunity to those eligible seniors at your schools.  Scholarship information regarding the Bookjammin Scholarship is attached and has been forwarded for inclusion in the 2013 APSVA Scholarship Website - College Corner. For your school web-site, I’ve included summary information similar to what was forwarded to APSVA Student Services. As always, we would appreciate forwarding notification of the 2013 scholarship to your coaches and college counselors.
