Volleyball will conduct green days on the following dates.  All students (rising 8th through 12th grade) are welcome to attend.  Students must have a valid VHSL physical on file and for those sessions after July 1, the physical must be for the upcoming 2015-16 school year which means the doctor's date must be after May 1.

Volleyball tryout information has also been posted under the Announcement section of the main page (titled Fall 2015 Sports Tryout Dates).

All sessions will be held in the main gym.

Fall Athletic Awards Night

Cafeteria, 7:00 pm

All teams will begin the evening together for refreshments. Each family is asked to bring a dessert to share. After the Presentation of Awards, teams will then move to separate rooms for individual awards (see program for room assignments).

All players from each team are asked to stay for the award presentations in the individual rooms. I would like to add to the culture of the program and have as many girls/coaches involved in the whole night as possible.

Four of the Yorktown Players received All-Conference Honors. Congratulations to the following:

2nd Team All-Conference: Michelle Laker

Honorable Mention All-Conference: Cat Vaccaro, Sophie Zavada, and Isabel Zavada

Yorktown will play at Fairfax on Monday at 7 pm in the first round of the conference tournament.  Admission is $6 per person.
