This is a reminder that the Spring Athletic Awards ceremony will be held on Monday, June 10 at 7:00 p.m. in the cafeteria. Please bring a dessert to share.

The order of events and time schedule for the Liberty District Outdoor Track & Field Championships to be held at South Lakes High School Tuesday and Wednesday, 5/14-15 has been finalized and is posted on "team files" on the outdoor track site.

The Arlington County Meet is scheduled for Tuesday, 4/23 at Wakefield High School. Like our previous meet at Herndon, all entries must be made electronically and are due on Sunday, 4/21 at 11:00 p.m. The coaching staff has stressed this to the team during practices and meets during the week of 4/8. As of today we've received only about twenty entries.  If unable to attend practice this week (Tuesday through Thursday 4/16-18/19) please e-mail your event coach or mark.stripe@apsva.us as soon as possible to let the coaching staff know of your choice of events for the Arlington County Meet.

Wednesday, 3/27 is our first meet and only home meet. All student-athletes have been asked to be at the track by 4:15 p.m. The meet should start around 5:30 p.m. and follow the regular season order of running events which may be found "team files". The track events are on a rolling schedule, and some races may be combined by gender. Order for the field events is as follows starting at 5:30 p.m. - Girls high jump followed by boys, girls shot put followed by boys, boys discus followed by girls. The horizontal jumps will be a co-ed open pit starting with the long jump for 45 minutes, followed by the triple jump for 45 minutes.
